thanks for being there Steve and Rochelle. I think the meeting was a very positive thing for the IWA and the Promoters. We left the meeting with some good ideas and some good shared information. I hope we can make this meeting an annual event!

If "stock" means "stock", I'm all for it. Stock suspension, stock shock lengths, stock track, stock sway bar. If they just make the motors stock, the only thing it will do is take away 20-25 HP and slow the field down a little bit. Plus, the racing crowds love NOISE and the mods with pipes provide that noise.

I was referring to Koochie's statement that his studs were only going to stick up .125 above the track in the post I quoted. I wasn't referring to your pictured studs.
BTW, there is NOTHING that tears tracks up faster than angled backers

On 144" I used 152 studs with double square backers with 1/4 of them double angled backers. Notice the tunnel protectors.
Straight= stopping
Angled= accelleration
See the right way to install studs below......

Yeah looks sweet Harold, but yur gay azz ride don't have the coolers right where you put the mo fo protectors. If I had yur money i'd be puttin in the double backers and all da fancy shizz.
I just got 140 used ones with square backers. I resharpened all the tips. some backers are a little tweaked. I would say they are 1 1/8 studs so they'll only stick out about .125, in which case to buddy's point i shouldn't need those handicapped track rubbin sum biches.
If they are only going to stick .125 over the track, don't waste your time installing them, they won't do chit

I belive mike hill makes the chasis....
I believe that is correct. They are going to be running Rotax power this year but I don't know who the engine builder is. I could venture a guess.....but I'm not going to :)

On a serious note,Benoy deserves the relaxation time, Mike also attended a funeral of a fallen friend mid week, I appreciate his being there. Although we only had the chance to greet one another, I really appreciate his travel, time and effort to honor one of our mutual racers.

Sorry we didn't get to talk more Jerry. It was also nice to see you there along with Terry and Derek. The Moyle's are a great family and have been good friends of mine for about 12 years. I know that they would be there for me if it were the other way around. Although there isn't much for any of us to say at a time like that, I think it helps us ALL get through it to be there with them.

It was a great time, thanks Ken.
The only flaw with Lambeau is that the seat spacing in the bleachers is designed for 8 year olds. I had a big dude on my right and the two of us together needed 3 seats instead of 2.
Another flaw was that we went to a game when it was "free Packer flag day". Some moron doesn't realize that 72,000 people waving 24"x18" flags makes it nearly impossible to see anything. I finally asked the guys in front of us (very politely :) ) to stop with the flag deal. It was better after that. Ken had a dude wearing a Cowboys helmet sitting directly in front of him who, when the crowd would stand, thought it was necessary to stand on the bleachers making it tough to see. I also kindly asked him to stop doing that
